looking to build a muffler of my own. considering something like the old drummer ss for the xb's. thinking of making a "tuned" expansion chamber out of aluminum. not sure what size or shape is needed. not sure what would work best. looking for a little input from any peeps out there that have a drummer, torque hammer, or some other similar design for thoughts, opinions, observations. if you don't want to post up here, feel free to private message me

Let me know what you end up with.

I didn't get much of a response.

Building a slipon system is my next "project" now that I've got the stock modified pipe completed and proven on a dyno. I've found several sources for material, just not sure which way I'm going yet. There are sources out there that you can build your own muffler completely from scratch, which is what I'll end up doing. I have 3 different versions in my head at the moment, a 2-1 similar to the Buell race muffler or Drummer, 2 single outlets, and a 2-1-2 with an X-pipe crossover. The 2-1 and the 2 singles would be the cheaper route to go, to the tune of maybe $500-600 to make from stainless. Titanium really isn't an option for me at this point, since I don't have an enclosed cabinet for welding it. I can make one later, but sourcing pre-bent Ti tubing is proving to be difficult.
