Cool Jason, did you have to drop the motor?
I've heard of folks that have plumbed a turbo into a Buell but it takes some serious modifications to do it. I think its because of the fuel/air ratio stuff. However it would be really cool to hear that blower spool up !

i know turbo would be so sick. and no matt showed me a ez way of doing it. just had to take the rear shock off and the fan to get to the rear studs it was way ez. other then moving the motor its self.
i looked up turbos and parts and flex hoses just random parts that i thought would make a nice ez set up with 7-9 psi of boots. no tuning just a stap on and go its about 800$$$ so will see will see |

yeah, we did it the cheatin'/easy way, so it took us 2 hours of actual time working on it to swap 'em out. thanks again to jimmy for the run-down

Hey,
Are all you single military guys good for Turkey day? What's up, y'all need someplace to eat a home cooked meal?
My Wife and Daughters are volunteering at the Church on Thursday, I gotta admit, the food is pretty good and the price is right at free!
If you want the address, I can get it to ya. I'm not cooking this year for Thanksgiving, but if there's enough interest, we can do something big for Christmas dinner.

Sunday was awesome, however I had family here and we went to Busch Gardens Christmas Town. Good times but I was thinking of riding all day. bummer. However there is this weekend.  |

okay, i think i've exhausted the search function on here for the HID upgrade how-to's and so i'll be ordering some HID kits from DDM tuning later this week.
DDM recently dropped their prices. now you can get a 35W kit for $30 with a lifetime warranty. (that's cheaper than a set of silverstar ultras)
so; any body wanna get some too and save on shipping fees?  |

others make hi/lo kits, but i was just gonna do just 1 'straight up' HID light bulb on the 9, and keep the sylvania high beam/flash to pass bulb. wanna split a 55W H7 kit?
output is waay better  -sunglasses at night cuz yer headlights are so bright-,
and install is supposed to be a 1/2 hour job. but we could make an afternoon out of it  |

Think having the 55w on the low will be too bright? Like having oncoming cars flashing brights at you all the time?

the low beam profile will cut it off at the right elevation. ya just gotta make sure your headlights are adjusted properly, or if you wanna be annoying, you can improperly adjust them high 
and if they do flash you, you can just flash them back.

The $50 set is for a pair of 35 watter's...it's an extra 10 to do 55w, and both of those are with the smaller ballasts.
They also have some with the larger ballasts for $30 a pair, $40 for 55w.
The more I think about it the more I think it might be better to go with the slimmer ballasts.... |
