Hello,

Just installed this system...Really like it. Bike FEELS like it is running great.

I have put about 100 miles on the set-up. After about 80 miles, the CEL light came on..And error flashed on screen. Bike is still running fine...Temp was in the high 170's...Not hot because of a lean situation...

Checked the AFV's...122 F / 100 R.

Anyone know what the deal is? AFV's were 105 F&R prior to exhaust & K&N.

Anyone know of a good tuner in the Orlando area?

Thanks!

i would think that tuning is not the issue. make sure that the exhaust header is tight(no leaks) front and rear and that both o2's are working as designed. my thought is if it were because of the muffler, you would see both front and rear make a big change. but it seems that your code is due to "too large of a differance in ft vs rear AFV)

No leaks...No back fires on decel (usually because of leaks), etc.

I also noticed it is harder to start...Even a pop when cold starting.

I verified the front header bolts, clamp, etc. No issues with the install.

As has been noted several places, several times.

You up the airflow capibility...you NEED to up the stuff that gets that air burning...the "fuel"...!

I've got an HMF on my CR...OEM aircleaner...I had to greatly up the fuel flow (and timing) to get the most out of the system.

Did it run without the aftermarket computer programs help...yea...but not nearly as well as it does now...!

Avalaugh -

Not sure what you mean.

I somewhat did the same thing to both timing and fuel.
Decided where and how much I "thought" (initial attempt) that things needed changing, then changed it.

I drove it around under different circumstances, then went back and did the same thing again, altered where I thought it needed changing.

All of my tuning comes from "many" years of tuning engines. I'm old...got a fair amount of experience.

One thing I have learned through all of this...you "gotta" set the TPS...before you do any mapping changes.
This set me way back on what was coming to be a good tuneup.
But I'm almost back to where I was..

How/what are you using to tune, as in standard equipment, if so how can it be altered, do you use ECM SPY or similar.

Or is it possible to change these parameters using the mode/toggle buttons.

Sorry if this sounds daft but just unsure of how you guys do all this stuff, i'm very interested in having a play myself.

Thanks
