That article said everything that I am just not articulate enough to put into words. Thanks for posting that! And check out www.cyrilhuzeblog.com for his article about the newly forming Eric Buell Racing! |

No wonder Harley is allowing EBR to exist, if this is what we are going to see coming out of the pro Harley press they have a PR problem of epic proportions brewing. With the lead time of the print press this is just starting. |

It's guys like this that go saying "Hiatus" and suddenly theres rumors of a resurection. They do nothing for the Buell comunity at large but stirr stuff. As for his comment that Buells are not Harleys, well that could be debated both here and on the article. Technically Buell, a sort-of seperate entity..... they used a beefed Sporty motor on the earlier motors, and yea, later models varied considerably from the Sportster platform, for a while it was nothing more than an experiment by Harley with a renouned builder.....turned loose with whatever Sporty motors He needed or could build into Buell's. Buell was nothing without the HD as a partner/supplier. Again, were talking before Rotax. But my point is.... these guys get everyone jazzed back up to only find empty hot air. We'll be hearing all these rumors for some time to come. And they will partially work because of our wanting to believe that all is not lost. I wish they were right, but I'm not betting my lunch money on it. |
