Welcome! Nice bike! Also - if you open those pics in mspaint or similar you can crop the white edges. They'd look nicer when posted. No biggie but FYI. How do you like the exhaust? |

How'd you modify your front turn signals? I hate my stock mirrors. Just curious if you did away with them all together or did you rewire the running lamps. Are those Pegusus mirror plugs? Looks goooood. |

I did away with the mirrors all together wired the turn signals into the running lights and installed a rear facing camera. I have a 2.5 inch screen above my speedo far a rear view. They are pegasus mirror plugs I found on ebay. |

you can see the camera on the side view of the bike. It is at the bottom back side of the tag. This is a better shot from the rear and of the screen. If you have any questions on how to do it, let me know. I have about 80 dollars in it and the install was easy.

Thats a cool idea. i saw a guy with a busa that had 2 cameras and 2 small screens... it was a nice setup and gave a nice wide angle shot of what was behind you.. |

Who'da thunk technology would replace something as simple as a mirror... image-stabilized, zoom enabled threat detection. I like it. Z |

The camera came from pep boys. It is a back up camera for a car. The system is wireless, meaning the camera and the monitor are not connected, which made the install easy. When I put the undertail kit on, I lost the tag light, which left a keyed power wire open. I used this to power the camera. In the front, I relocated the turn signals into the running light location in the headlights. This also left a keyed power wire open and used it to power the monitor. The set up was about 80 dollars, the amber bulbs were 3.00, & I had to add some wire to the turn signals but that is about all the expense. The camera is turned upside down and I had to trim the ends to fit a bike tag and drill a couple holes. The monitor will let you adjust the image, so the image isn't upside down. If you need better pics of the wiring, let me know. The reason I did this was I broke my left mirror off and it was 90 dollars to replace it. I had wanted to try the camera, but didn't know where to start and my wife told me to get the back up camera and try it. Was a lot easier than I thought. Also added the mirror block offs. They where on ebay for 36.00 and come in four different colors. This is a picture of the box for back up camera that I bought.

I got it from pep boys. I would think that a lot of auto parts stores would have them. |
