well I added another 100 today so 1300 now. I have been lucky with the weather and work schedule that I have been ale to ride a lot. the 1125 with the lowers blocks a lot more wind then the s3 and i would almost say more comfortable too. i cant wait for a good road trip next spring. with all of the new owners we should make a plan to go to the races at Mid Ohio next year. I got to 2 races this year and hope to make a few more next year. keep in touch in the storm fronts section for local info and other rides. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 37.html?1258341308 |

I got enough miles on mine today so I can change the oil. It was a good weekend for riding. We should do a Southern tier Buell GTG sometime. |

ok i'm game for a meeting or a ride don't matter to me as long as it's some boys that like riding and love buell motorcycles. i'm in elmira and willing to ride i could probably round up 4 or 5 buells for a ride |

Where did you guys in Elmira get your Buell's from? Southern Tier? I thought they got out of the Buell line before the shutdown? I'm originally from Elmira/Horseheads and go back there monthly or so to visit. Wife & I even ride or trailer our bikes down sometimes to ride with our "Horseheads crew" of friends & family. I recently bought a Ulysses from Performance in Syracuse (after Oct 15th) and they said that they plan to sign an agreement with HD to be an authorized Buell service facility for 7 years. I hope that this pans out, and I thought I would pass this info along to other upstate NY folks. If you know of other local dealerships who seem to be dedicated to supporting Buell owners going forward, let me know - good info to keep filed away for future ref, or in case I need anything when I'm down in the Southern Tier. |

Well, that's not what the guys in my shop said. They suggested keeping synthetic out of it for the first 1000 miles... |
