You do have to be careful about rotating on the brake side - if you overrotate the lever will bear on the throttle cable housing, which is plastic and fixed due to the "pinning" of the switch housing (on the CR at least). But you can move it down some, yes. KeS |

A way to stop this is to check the angle of your wrist to your lower arm when operating the clutch, years ago when I had this problem with the very heavy clutch on a 1074 bevel drive Ducati I solved it by rotating the clutch lever assembly on the handle bar down a bit (counter clockwise viewed from the outer end of the handlebar) this opened up the angle between the lower arm and hand and believe me it made the bike much more pleasant to ride, I have done this on the 1125R/Firebolt and my track bike and have no problems, give it a try but dont go too far. Oohhhhhh... That's what that "CRACK" was when I was rotating the switchgear housing.... But it fits now.} R |

can't seem to find them for the '25s. Mind sharing a vendor who has them? thanks |

Yes, I mind sharing a vendor, since I've seen people slammed for posting non-sponsor information. If you go to the ASV website, they show the listing for the 1125s. Any ASV dealer can order them, they're a standard part. I was able to find them for just under $200 for the set. The mirrors are Rizoma look-alikes from eBay; Motrax makes them. KeS |

Correct ... the 1125 ASV levers fit several bikes. The clutch lever will come with all different little adapters since every bike is setup a little different for the neutral switch. Mine came with NO instructions to fit it to a Buell 1125. I found I needed to use the Suzuki B-King attachment but WITHOUT the additional spacer. The brake lever bolts right on. |

I can confirm that you used the correct adapter part; I had the ASV owner on the phone and he said the clutch is the same unit as the GSX-R 750s; so use the "All Suzuki" adapter without the "B-King only" spacer. Neutral kill switch function confirmed. KeS |

posting a product *sold by a sponsor* at a non-sponsor vendor - no good posting a link to a non sponsor vendor selling an aftermarket product -should- be fine. some items and/or links are just Buell orphans helping Buell orphans, and not taking food out of anyone's mouth. But I do understand your decision. We are all survivors of a death in the family at this point... |

posting a product *sold by a sponsor* at a non-sponsor vendor - no good Great, so if I want to poll every single sponsor of the site as to whether they sell ASV levers, and wait until I get a "no" response from each of them - THEN I can mention the name of another source. Sorry, not gonna happen. So I just don't post useful vendor information. KeS (Message edited by kevin_stevens on November 20, 2009) |

well, since ASV is not a sponsor, maybe we should not mention them at all. The levers can be bought directly from ASV on their website. Dug around a bit, will be ordering a set. http://asvinventions.com/levers_order/C5_Sport/ Thanks for the tip |

Neutral kill switch function Do you have to worry about this? When I installed my Pazzos, it was a bolt and go procedure. Why would this be different with the ASVs? (Message edited by fresnobuell on November 20, 2009) |

Do you have to worry about this? When I installed my Pazzos, it was a bolt and go procedure. Why would this be different with the ASVs? Because Pazzo deals with it by having zillions of different lever perches for different bikes, that carry the neutral switch pad. ASV deals with it by having just a couple of different perches, with different screw-on bits to fit different bikes. Different design approaches. See the cool little LED turn signal next to the headlight, too? OPerative word here is "little." It won't be that cool if it causes an accident from another driver not seeing it. I hate to preach, but turn signals are a communication device between you and the rest of the world. I'll never understand making them less visible, not matter how trick they look. |

That's ok, preaching doesn't really seem to bother you that much. KeS |
