Okay dudes, I took a quick trip around the block. This was shot on my 9 year old Canon DV10, mini DV. The audio is pretty good. For the street clip I propped the camera on the tank bag against my chest. I've got some Go Pro but it washed out. I'll see if I can edit that footage tonight. Cheers! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SOMY_phzW0 |

Is the sound loud inside of your helmet when your riding? I have a Latus muffler on the XB and it sounds sick but I have to wear earplugs on long trips. Im wondering if this is like that. |

Save your ears for later in life... Any time you are heading out for longer trips (20 miles+), or getting on the freeway...wear ear plugs! That's my two cents. And visually...I like that system. Mike |

That's about the best exhaust vid I have seen on YT for the 1125r. Thanks! Sounds nice and mellow. |

Thanks guys. The video is even better uncompressed on the PC. Through my speaker system it rumbles! I used Appled iMovie HD to download and edit the footage. As Mike said, plug up! After 20 years in the Army my hearing is not as good as it used to be, damn tanks... Without plugs its not too bad. The tone is lower than my old Jardine. The Jardine had a frequency that hurt my ears at cruise speed. When I pulled into the parking garage this monring the sound was BOOMING! Wow. |

It is Austin; Far West and Mesa. Still have the Jardine and it is for sale. I've not advertised it yet. PM me if you are interested. I guess $250 plus shipping. |

Hellgate, any dealers here in the USA for this exhaust? Did you find any dyno charts, just wondering what it does for performance? |

nice long clip - did you also shoot video with your hero setup i saw clipped in the front? Wish you had a chance to push it a bit... but in town that's understandably hard to do and stay out of trouble. I see you shift down and coast a lot - sometimes in N. When you downshift to decel do you get any decel popping? I'd love to see you run it a bit harder, and specifically downshift decel to see if it pops much if at all. any ecm updates/tunes? You at 142 or latest equivalent? |

1_Mike: I wear earbuds man. I love having tunes while riding and with the buds I get tunes and a quieter ride. |

S133py - No popping at all. I'm on 062 but I've got '09 fuel injectors. On Saturday we going to flash it to 152 and see how it runs. (I've got a CR VIN for the later flashes. Anyone wanna donate an '09 R VIN so my speedo is correct???) I used my camcorder for that footage. I tried the Go Pro in Lo with the gasket removed and it washed out above 25 mph. The camcorder sounds much better. I'll try to get some more footage this weekend; freeway, acelleration, decel, etc. Chevy - No US dealers at this time. I ordered straight from Free Spirits. I have factory dyno charts but they requested that I not share them yet. I can tell you there is a nice increase in power across the entire powerband. I plan to have my bike dynoed in a month or so, need to find some time first. Once that is done I'll post before and after numbers. Then a Power Commander is next on the list. I really don't want any more power, just a smooth bike with a good throttle. |

Why would they ask you to not share the dyno sheets? Not that it's a huge sales point, but there are people that would buy a product on just the numbers alone. Even if it sounds nice, if the hp/torque is the same as stock or only 2-5 over, is it worth it? For that kinda $$, I'd want to know for sure what I'm getting. Product out to market, there's no NDA really applicable to it any more. Post the #s. What are they gonna do, come take the pipe away? |

DA - they asked me to keep the numbers to myself so I'm going to honor their request. When I dyno the bike I'll post my sheets. You'll just need to wait a month or so. |

That's awesome! I like that the fire truck went by, really gives an actual reference to how loud it is. How loud is it when you open it up? (Message edited by sknight on November 20, 2009) |
