Want to pick up some stuff before it's all gone, looking to get the Buell softpack saddle bags(88209-09Y http://www.buell.com/en_us/gear/accessories/produc t.asp?Menu_ID=2&ProductLineID=1&CategoryID=4&Produ ctID=4252) Can I still carry a passenger with these? |

You might be able to carry a kid at best. The sit real close to the seat, so if your passenger has an ass any wider than that, they aren't going to fit. |

It loops around the passenger seat, and comes with a huge warning label saying no passengers. |

They get in the way of the passengers legs. It can be done but it's uncomfortable for the passenger and pushes the bags in an unnatural manner. |

They sit real far forward. They can't go back further since the turn signals are in the way. But for the price you could try. Someone may want them, there is always ebay. |

Verbiage on the bags themselves says they can't. Death and mayhem may result... Seriously, the bags DO say that passengers are not to ride with the bags on the bike. |

Oh, thanks! I misread that as "ride *IN* the bags on the bike"! KeS |
