I know that the Buell seats are interchangeable, but Corbins don't always use the same mounts as stockers. Has anyone put a Corbin on a 1125? |

Yes I have one on mine I had to modify the mounts a little bit and sand down the black knobs on the front, but it was well worth it. This thing is great. Jimmy |

Took a LOT of screwing around to get it to fit for me. Al Lighton was tremendously helpful even though I didn't get it from American Sport Bike (I ordered it directly from Corbin). First thing to do is COMPLETELY remove the two big rubber bumpers in the front. Next, shave about half an inch of rubber off the middle two bumpers. Now when you mount it, you can probably JUST see the mounting holes in the frame when you look through the mounting eyelets in the saddle. You will need to "oval" out the holes in the saddle until you can get the mounting bolt through and into the frame. Or better yet, buy the Buell touring saddle for the Firebolt. It costs less and won't give you the same headaches. Still, I liked the look of the Corbin and now that it's installed I don't have any regrets.

If there is an 1125 Owner near Hollister, California, PM me. Corbin will build a seat for the 1125, they just need access to a bike for a day. |

man, i went to high school in hollister. i ended up in VA. i like the corbin, but the buell seat was way cheaper. i might get the stocker re-done, or just break down and spend the $$ to get it. |

The Buell comfort seat is very, very good too. And it fits perfectly. |

Is there a difference between the "comfort" seat and the "touring" seat? |

The biggest caution I can offer you on Corbin is this: Their customer service would have to improve by an order of magnitude to merely "SUCK." You've been warned. |

Or, call Corbin @ 800-538-7035. If they get enough requests they'll build the seat. I want a seat like this by spring: http://www.corbin.com/suzuki/sbkingf.shtml |

According to HDnet, it's only "Pending Obsolete" and is listed as still available. |
