Here is an idea!!!! Did anyone think of a small but simple patch or a pin for this event? The last rally we had here the pins were around $2.00 Canadian to have made but the quantity was around 600 pins - a smaller quantity would be a little higher but still not a big expense. Another idea is to form an International Brag Group with members from all over???? I have heard rumors of a HOG group being formed on that basis. I would love to have a patch/pin to mark the event. | ||

Newfie, that's a great idea. I also would like a pin or patch(preferably a pin). HOWEVER, I don't know how many people are going to show, so how many pins get ordered? What's a minimum order size? What's the design of the pin? Who's got time to attend to it? Hell, I just found out how much of a pain in the ass it is just getting T-shirts printed without artwork; getting pins made would probably be a major pain in the butt.  | ||

Yea!! A pin & patch & a program book. Maybe Buell will even make a commerative bike for the occasion. Seriously tho, the pin or patch idea is good, but really who has the time & the contacts & resources to devote to such an undertaking? And there is no definate way to tell how many folks will show up. You could have 25 or 250, there is no telling. | ||

Het Dennis, maybe Hals sells little dealer pins. Get a handfull & sell em at cost. Thats about the only way a pin is gonna happen with this gig. I have seen a number of dealers who do sell pins with their logo on them, dont know if Hals does tho. | ||

I like the idea of T-Shirts better than pins, I wear shirts, I don't wear a bunch of pins. I think Court said something about being able to have shirts made? If shirts are made put me down for 4. I don't mind doing the footwork on the pin thing. Things are cheap here in Canada!!!!! The only problem would purchasing - I would not want to tie up too much cash into something I would not get back. Say if we set a limit of 100 pins to start and see how many people want them. I can do a design and give it to the same company that did the pins for me last summer for the 14th Atlantic Regional HOG Rally. Dennis, Do you have any hard numbers as to how many are going to be attending? If not can we start a thread to poll the membership of BADWEB to try to get some numbers. I can be e-mailed if anyone is really interested but personally I would love to have a pin for this occasion. | ||

No real firm numbers. I'm guessing at least 100ppl at various times. There's only about 20 confirmed reservations for the dinner. I'm expecting things to begin hopping shorting. The Fuell article should help spark additional interest. Don't forget...we also have posters. | ||

Newfie, there is no way to get a count of who will be attending. Not everyone who attends is online or is even aware that this site exists. Plus it always seems like folks have a hard time committing to anything. They all want to wait till the last minute & see who else is going show up. The number of 20 that Dennis threw out is an obvious one. Between the guys & gals at Hals & Ukes we have more than that. Besides yourself, spidey, ez blast, glenn from Houston & possibly Scooter from ATC I havent heard anyone else commit. | ||

I may do a simple design the weekend and get some pricing on 50 pins with the option to order more. Will put some thought into it if people are interested. I will scan the pin I did last summer and post the pic. | ||
