Blake, Just letting you know, in case you re-indexed the database, the search function still isn't working. -JW:> |

Blake, I know this is the least of your worries at this stage, but for future reference, it would be handy for the clipart page to minimize rather than close after each use. |

Ok, what's the clue??? How come when I click on "Last Day" I only get the General Discussion thread? |

It seems to change day to day, yesterday all I got on new messages was GDB, now today it's only One thread from the quick board and storm fronts |

I found it! Problem solved! Of course it was a setting that I misunderstood and set at 100 myself. It is now set at 3,000. That should cover us eh? (Message edited by blake on April 29, 2003) |

Cool, Blake the Last Day and Last Week links are working now! You've got it set to display a maximum of 3000 posts returned? What about Dyna? What about this mysterious status number thing? I don't know why I keep worrying about it but I just worry about stuff like that. What does it mean? Why has it changed from numbers to equations and smiley faces for some people?

Blake...Thanks for all your hard work and the hours spent with the new software...I'm sure we'll all get used to the new "look and feel" with just a bit of use...The presentation and legibility is fantastic and seems to load better here at home where I am band width challenged...Size does matter!... Thanks Again!!! Bob |

Blake, Not a big deal, but I noticed when editing my NAME in my profile, that it only accepts 20 char(s). Can it be set to accept more than 20? -JW:> |

Blake, Great stuff. I like the look and feel. You mentioned in another section about removing all the extra stuff under our username. Was wondering if it were possible to have the option for our 'real' name to appear in that area. Possibly have it as an option that could be turned on our off by the user in the 'edit profile section'. Just a thought. Ray |

Jim, As you wish. Done. Ray, The option to display the "full name" field is available, but it is not user selectable. The user profiles will display the full name fields.

Question, how do you edit the description under the username to the left of each message. I notice folks have added different short items (i.e. b xlnt) |

Blake, That's cool. I was just wondering if it were possible especially for those that have user names that are nothing close to the real name. It might not be popular with everyone though. Great job on the board. Ray |

Checking in from the hotel in Arkansas. Thanks for all the thanks. The thumbnail option is neat, but it add significantly to the page size and monthly bandwidth. We are looking into some options that might allow it in the near future. The site was down recently? If any SERIOUS site problems occur from now till Monday morning, please let our ISP know at Brian@BadWeB.com . Thanks! Blake |

The last 2 times I was putting together a post I lost the whole thing. The first time, I clicked on font and the whole message was erased. The second time I went to get some clipart and it erased it again. What's up? |

Bib, Would you please provide the following information... computer make/model/CPU, operating system, browser type, browser version. Are you running behind a firewall and/or corporate network? Sounds like a possible browser setting/javascript issue, but I'll need more information to submit your issue to the folks at Discus so they can try to replicate the problem and come up with a fix. |

Leave it to us to find a bug in the program. Just installed the patch. Keyword search results will now be limited to no more than 500 pages. If you do a key word search and get 500 results, you might wish to add additional more-specific words to narrow your search. The search routine is now set to stop once 500 pages have been found matching your search criteria. |
