Define Problem. Your tolerance of a problem and mine most likely differ. My bike has had the IC replaced, and the clutch cover fixed. Neither of those posed a problem with riding the bike or enjoying it. The two turn signals I had replaced for free weren't a big deal either. I have not had ANY other warranty repairs other than ^ and the bike runs like a top. It is a blast to ride. Not sure what issues you have with yours. I would define it a problem if it were re-ocurring. IE: Stator keeps dying, Fuel System (Injectors, Pump) Then I might consider going to another dealer. If that doesn't work. Then I might consider selling it. |

I am probably not a fair example but have had zero problems in the week I've owned my bike. So far, I've had 350 very enjoyable miles and if there hadn't been this snow issue here in Colorado, I would have more. |

'08 1125R - replaced the rear turn signals under warranty. I took it in, try replaced them, I rode it home. It's been a great bike although I did replace the stock seat with an '04 Firebolt unit. |

No problems but only had less than a week with just under 600 miles. I don't like the drip coming from the vent tube on the passenger peg but not sure if thats and problem.. I hoping for no problems going forward! |

I'm not sure that I've ever had zero problems with ANYTHING, but I have been happy with my 08 1125R. The dealer I bought it from made sure that it had all the flashes, and properly set my suspension. I had a problem with somebody knocking it over in a parking lot last Thanksgiving. When I took it to the dealership, the rear turn signals quit working, but I didn't notice because the left front signal was hanging by the wires....still worked though. A year later I noticed that I didn't have any clutch....should have paid attention to that clutch cover leak! Anyway, all was fixed. I listen to the wailing and gnashing of teeth over turn signals and such and wonder if the wailers have ever owned a car before. When my turn signals burn out in my car I go to Walmart and buy replacements. I hate to appear callous, but give me a break. Boys' (and girls) grown up toys are different than your sister's Barbie dolls. Sorry if I have offended anybody. |

Okay, it's early ... 3 weeks and just under 700 miles. The only problem I've had is keeping that damn front wheel on the ground! Mike |

'08 1125R (Jan 08 build) - wrecked dealer demo. ZERO problems right out of the salvage yard. Run hard its whole life: burnt not even an ounce of oil, battery's been full of juice everytime, rev A clutch cover which does NOT leak, NO updates to the ECU nor ANY recalls done and no reason to.. everything works perfectly. As reliable as any jap bike I've had - my only complaint is in the fueling department and thanks to some helpful badwebbers here - I've got a good handle on that too. So there - one crashed early build '08 with NO recalls done, still on the absolute original flash with ZERO problems and running strong. |

Dude, keep the bike. Its the equivalent of a two wheeled hot rod... even better - it goes around corners. With Buell getting buried by those retards at HD you've got your hands on an instant classic. |

I've had one problem on my 1125, but it was an issues before I bought the bike and the dealer fixed it for me. That being said, EVERY bike I've ever owned has had some sort of issue with it that required a return to the dealer. |

I had zero problems until a week ago had a stator failure and possible crank position failure but i had 4100 miles on her since bought in august. so i am hoping for more worry free miles after warranty fix. just bought 2010 led tail light and some front and rear brake pads. Next mod FMF pipe. Lets get ready to rumble! Dont worry to all that are worrying. Issues will get worked out soon enough. We have a great bike for years to come. Oh I have been keeping tabs on valve jobs and so far not many if at all need them at the 12,000 mile interval. Rotax motors are bullet proof with MR.Buell's design makes it that much more exciting. |

"just wondering if there are any goods ones out there and what year they are and how long have you owned them ,all this bad news is bringing me down about my purchase of a 2008 ,post up and let us know about the good one's before i sell mine" This is a fan site, so it's unlikely anyone who's committed to the 1125 is going to admit to being unhappy with it, even if they've had probs. I cannot say that I've had NO problems with my 1125. I CAN say that I've made many 'corrections' to the bike to make it into what I needed it to be, given that I ride 16,000+ miles (not kilometres) a year. Having said that, if I had it to do over, I would not have purchased it: one of thr reasons I did was because it is American (as am I, though I am in Australia); and the other that it was part of the giant, well-regarded Harley-Davidson. Now neither of the latter statements is true (it's not part of H-D, and I no longer highly-regard H-D or Buell). |

Plenty. But this isn't a discussion forum. It's an enthusiast site. LOL! Boiling fuel Surging Kickstand failure Turnsignal failure IC Replacement Stator/Starter Motor failure Clutch cover dribble fix Broken belt Clutch cover replacement (bike failed on road) Warped rotor (track days and stock pads don't mix) But if they release that 1199cc bike, I'm on it. |

Well, C'mon, this is every bit as much a troll site as a fan site. I have heard some amazing tales from trolls. But you are right Red, basically this is a fan site. So, if you want to dish dirt on Buell, most folks will take exception. As I said one other time, folks think they can sit down and then say "Hey, is that your baby? Really, man that is the ugliest baby I have ever seen.....bet her mom looks like a horse." Then they get real upset when they get an asswhuppin' and try to to tell everybody they were just exercising their freedom of speech. If you have nothing to contribute, contribute it somewhere else. I don't think most folks can match me for a bad experience, but Buell folks went above and beyond the call of duty to help me fix a problem with a 2002 X-1. I really appreciate what Buell did for me. Hehehe . . . . I don't own one . . but after last week I may be one of the few who don't! Not sure it's a data point . . . . but, in my sunset years, I've owned LOTS of bikes . . . just two years ago there were 2 Buells, Yamaha, BMS, Kawasaki, KTM and of course the 1952 Cushman sitting here. For the record NONE of them have been totally trouble free . . but the Cushman, at it's whopping 4.5 HP Husky engine has been the closest. |

I've got an '08. Only thing I'd call a problem is not enuf time to ride it. The only other thing that happened is my rear turn sigs died. I'm an electronics tech so I just rebuilt them. I really don't consider the turn sigs a problem |

I can't say 100% problem free, but nearly. Every bike I've ever owned has had some kinda quirk. 1125R (09): had occasional blank out of speedo, but problem disappeared. Overall, very satisfied after 6k miles. 1125CR (09): "unplanned purchase" a couple of weeks ago, but happy so far (300 miles). |

08 - 1125R 24K miles. No problems. My definition of problem is I have to leave it at the dealer overnight to correct it. |
