It happened Today On S3 ,70,000 + miles feels like shock is worn-out,frame broken,a little bit more vibes in foot-pegs.Will use Scott-free Method to replace. 125,000 miles on S2T right rear iso went at 30,000 mi along time ago. (Message edited by ebutch on November 14, 2009) |

I wonder if newer iso will last at least as long as older hockey-puck?I know newer keeps Frame from dropping and how dangerous is dropping? When 7 yrs ago on S2T iso broke it took me 8,000 miles to figger it out. (Message edited by ebutch on November 15, 2009) |

The new style are a bit more firm, I suspect they will last longer. I've got them on my 00 Cyclone, only about 15,000 though. |

Looks like you are running the OLD ISOLATORS(PN 47564-86B) that were RETRO-FITTED from the soft tail plate form which lasted about 30K if you rode hard or rode two up ... You need to UP-DATE to RIGHT ISOLATOR PN L0505.9R and LEFT ISOLATOR PN L0504.9L ... |
