Seems I saw a mod to have both work, despite the inner RSS shroud's desire to occupy the same place at the same time. My searching has failed to turn up a reference. Anyone know the link or have an idea on how to make it work? Thanks in advance, Randal |

I sent an email to them asking the same questions and here's the reply: If you have a RHS scoop, this will need a hole drilled in it to feed one of the support bars through it. A few customers have done it without any major issue but I personally haven’t. I think the comfort kit is only the scoop and the blanking piece under the seat? Cheers for now Iain |

I had to remove the Pegs to accommodate the Comfort Kit since the RSS in the kit attach to the forward bolt where the Palmer Peg also attaches. I am waiting on a modification to allow us to have both. |

That's what I thought. I'll try passing the vertical peg strut through the scoop as Iain has suggested. If anyone else has a solution, especially with pictures, please post. Thanks. |

I just removed the front RT mount then mounted the inter part of the Right side air scoop. Then I held up the outer portion of the air scoop and just cut out a notch where the outer portion of the air scoop went. Sorry no pics. I totaled by bike last week. |

I did the same, good 'ol dremel tool with the carbide burr. I removed the Palmer supplied SS spacer and notched the top of the peg support rod flange so it sits flush with the aluminum tank/frame mounting boss. Then put a shorter bolt in with no washer for proper fitment of the RSS. The spacer is there to keep the rod away from the header but I still had 1/4" of clearance. Once all that was in place I notched it out until it fit in place around it. I actually removed the brass nutzert in the plastic but then it was too late to realize it could have stayed there although there would be little support for it and would probably vibrate & crack off anyways. A black ty-wrap holds that together just fine for me. |
