I'm just curious what the benefits of the headlight grill are. Is it mostly looks? Thanks, Nick |

Nick: You are too new here to remember but the day Buell rolled out the CityX with it's grill . . . . I stood on Madison Avenue here in NYC and took about 24 photos and posted them of all the cars, Range Rovers, trucks, Highlanders, whatever . . with grills. Apparently the world is a lot rougher place than I ever imagined. How do you like your Buell? |

I love my bike. I first test road a Buell at an AMA Superbike weekend.....and I was hooked. I have no complaints at all. It's an awesome machine. -Nick- |

Headlight grills came stock on XB9s. 9's take them off too look like an XB12. I have a grill on my XB12 to get a tough look. Grillz on the other hand is a piece of jewelry worn the teeth. |

No, the XB9S was out of production when the grill came out. The grill was only stock on the XB9SX, XB12X, XB12STT, and XB12XP. |

Best part is when someone was driving by and had their camera phone recording your wreck and there was no pelican to be found Ironic thing is, the guy owns a body shop that specialized in wrecked exotic cars. |

Hey Froggy, if your first comment is true, then I need to order at least 20 pair of headlight grills. "It helps you get laid : )" |

I use my grill to set my helmet on if the grounds dirty when I'm getting under the seat. I just bought a Shoei X12 and have been saving for it for half a year (was planning on buying an Arai Corsair V until the X12 came out) So I'm not going to set an 800$ helmet on the dirty pavement which is where my grill comes in. Anyone reckon if Eddies Gold Teeth could make 22k grills for Buells? |

It's like fake boobs, they not necessarily perform better, they just better. Personally I see no use for the grill, unless you go dirt riding and would like to protect your cover from been hit by branches. |
