Give me a few weeks - just ordered the manuals. I bet I could mount that puppy with Acerbis straps. EZ |

That is mounted on an X1 though, but still a great idea! I run my CR on high all the time double lit - that would look cool! My current set up is way less expensive though, and incorporates blinkers, though the CR mirrors could be made to work as well, again pricey vs the 3rd eye mirrors - my current Blast is very minimalist. Still I'm sure that look would be awesome on a Blast, so when the parts book comes in, if no one else posts it, I'll put up numbers and stuff - a page or two - we'll see what we are up against, and improvise! I'm liking the look of CR light set up. The stock blast headlight cost $136 new an the blast windscreen is the same price new. I has thinking about getting them for acouple more dollars i'm thinking CR now! Keep posting your progress on this. EZ you get the parts book an are these the right numbers? |

Looks simple enough to mount either with Acerbis straps or conventional universals. The wiring is straight forward - I just may try this on Vader. EZ |

EZ do you have the repair manual for the CR if so does it have a wiring diagram for the headlight harness? Dan |

Black is ground, the rest explains itself, the wire charts are all fold out line charts, and would a Blast harness match a CR connector? I'm pretty sure you'll either make your own connector, or hard wire it in. Still if you want I'll scan it and post - probably tomorrow evening - no biggie EZ |

Cool how do the lights work on the CR are they both on with double filament bulbs with low/high beam or is the left side low beam rights high beam? Is the extra wattage going to effect the original wiring an what bulbs are in it? Dan |

Your not mounting this with just a universal mount i took the stock mount bent an welded a piece of angle on the front to get the top bolts on just above the top triple clamp. The bottom mounts are just small piece of 1/2" id pipe with a tab welded on drilled an taped to the bottom triple clamp.
