I'm new to the XBoard and am just looking for some advice on tuning my recently purchased Uly. I also have a 1125R and would like to do the same with it. Should I buy the Direct Link or will EcmSpy work better? Which one is easier to use? Does one have more areas that adjustments can be made than the other? Any other pros or cons between the two? |

Its an easy answer, 07 and older use ECMspy, 08 and newer use Directlink. Long story short, Directlink is the only one that works on the newer bikes. |

Thanks Froggy, looks like I need the Directlink then. |

One small problem, I called about the Directlink and found out that they stopped shipping them because of technical problems. I was told that the 08 and newer bikes were the ones that they were having issues with and they are working on it. I guess I get to wait a while longer. |

Talk to American Sport Bike about it. Last I heard they were working for everything except 2010. |

I bought the cable for Digital technician. Can I use the same cable for ECMspy? |

ECMspy CAN be used on early 08 models with the same as 07 or earlier. It is my understanding it can also be used on newer 08s but not sure to what degree. Not sure on that cable working for you. |
