Do you need bags???? I am trying to put together a good set for the restoration so it they are new like he says I only need one cover. I have everything else. I am going to bid on them if he post better pictures. I spent the better part of the day trying to make a card board cut out the the mirrors (I need to have two made) and almost gave up on it. I also made a template of where the turn signal holes go it the tail section since I will will need to drill them at a later date. On the mirrors, I ordered another set just in case and also noticed a part number for the rubber boot so I ordered two of those. The parts for the restoration are piling up while I am doing bodywork for the custom. Everybody does two build at once, right? Frank |

Frank . . if you need mirrors to work off of I have some new ones sitting in boxes if you need to make templates. I **think** you can still buy the mirrors. If you get in a bind for saddlebag parts we can check the stuff I've got hidden away. It's all at Aaron's and I had so many cases of Buell S2 bodyparts that I had to send them to live in his barn. I have some lids here though in (again, I'm guessing) green and white. |

No problem Court. It is kind of a funny story, I have the mirrors (I should say just the shells of them) and one had a broken mirror so I popped it out (not that easy) and traced it and made a cut out to have another two mirrors made. Since the mirror casing was scratched up I sanded it, primered it and painted it the color the bike is going to be. While looking for the connections for my heated gloves for the Uly I found in a box two mirrors in good shape. Damn it. I wish I knew what I had in the garage. LOL Thanks for the offer Court, I think I have everything plus a lid in a different color. All I would need to do is get it painted but since all the other body work needs to be painted I might as well do everything at once. That does remind me... I need to call a painter... Frank |

Do you need bags???? Ya know, I'm really not sure. I would like to have that option available. The addition of the 1125R has really confused some future plans. I would buy a set if they were "cheap". I'm guessing I won't be getting these. |

I was kind of hoping these would slip under the radar. I'm working on restoring my S2T and the bags were one of the things that got lost along the way before I got my hands on it. |

An F117 doesn't even get to slip past this crews ebay radar if it has an S2 part some place on it. |

I won't be bidding against you, Willi.... If you're staying with "purple", otherwise known as parkway blue, we should talk. I can see where you'd want to pursue a complete set, first, but I've got one side that appears have never been on a bike. |

Actually, someone did paint it purple, though there are traces of Parkway Blue under what's left of the front fairing. The SWR says it was built as "no color" so I'm going with the Quicksilver. |

Williast, the Quicksilver Metallic is a favorite of mine. You have to post a picture of your bike, it is the law you know. On another note: I spent some time in P'cola at NTTC Corry Station in the early 80s and then again in the 90s. Frank |

Not to hijack the thread, but Frank, I arrived at the Round-up with one mirror made at a glass shop in Idaho, if you remember the story. It isn't curved ("Objects in the mirror...") and is a PITA. You might consider that for your mirror project. And on track: I am mildly in need of a left side inner from when when bike got knocked over by some a-hole drunk walking by, if anyone has a spare. Mine is spiderwebbing from both latch-points. Since I'm not (at present) doing a full resto, I may just reinforce from the inside. |
