Geez gone one day and everybody, but mostly Dyna, starts posting like mad!!. Got sent up to Two Rivers today, or "Twivers" as the locals call it, to check out some cool new equipment. Okay here's the deal for Sunday. Be at Hal's at 11:00a.m. FULL tank of gas and ready to ride. Kickstands up at 11:30a.m. Semi-boring ride to Course Ducatti... (I just drove past there twice today and it looks like brand spanking new facilities) Looking at detailed maps, there isn't too many semi-direct roads on the way up with many curves. So we'll have to deal with that for now. After lunch I suggest heading west to the Kettle Moraine or Holy Hill area. REMEMBER THE ROADS ARE STILL SEMI-FILLED WITH CRAP!!!!!!! Here is the route to Course from Hal's Left North Moorland Continue Pilgrim Road (county YY) Continue Pilgrim Road (through Menominee Falls,German Town) Right Freistadt Rd. (County F) Left Granville Rd. Right Highland Rd. Left Granville Rd. Right Hwy 60 Left Covered Bridge Rd. Right Pleasent Valley Rd. Left County O (Main St.- Saukville) Total mileage should be ~40-50 to get there. Mileage after lunch is to our own doing!!!!! I'll have route sheets on Sunday. Dennis, You ready to chase me tomorrow?? I'm on the first test ride. So get that lighting all warmed up for me, okay. Oh, and make it a yellow one!! |

Hey hey hey... Well I would like to thank whoever it was that planned the Demo ride at Hal's today. I got to take out the XB9S (Yellow) for a ride. It was a lot of fun. I will say that bike handles GREAT, but is just to small for my 6'3" body. It is much more manouverable then my M2, but no balls what-so-ever. After 5000 rpm pulled nice, but the power band is just to narrow. Also want to say a I had a great time riding next to the almighty Blast (with the go fast red flames). Way fun!!! Dennis, I hope you made it home with at least some oil left in your bike. Damn rocker box gaskets!!! Now I am at work and will be till 7:00 am Sunday. So I won't be riding tomorrow, bummer. See you all soon |

So another damn no-show?? I thought Brew city was a "riding" club? Didnt know I joined a club of non-riding posers:D Oh well, at least Jerry & his extremely fast & nimble sunfire yellow blast with graphix will be there. Bomber & his entourage are supposed to appear as well. |

Great ride to the Dells and back today. Wish I had been on the X1, but the Topless Miata was almost as much fun. |

Just got back from Corse myself. Had 10 bikes total at Hals for the ride up there. Jerry did a good job leading..although the roads that way are pretty beat up it was an enjoyable ride. Free Bratwurst, beans, chipe & soda at Corse. Ever notice how much better food tastes when its free?? Brian did a complete makeover of his S3..doesnt even resemble one anymore. Very sharp looking, unfortunately I didnt bring my camera so no pics this outing. Perhaps next time. |

What the hell else do you want?? Its only about 35 miles from Hals to Corse..we pretty much did a straight shot so it wasnt anything exciting. Just nice to get together with the guys again & ride. Oh yea, there was also a couple of major ass hotties at Corse....gotta love them Italians Oh yea..I think there might have been a couple bikes there also. |

Dennis, are you still planning on making it next week for the Slimey Crud run? I have read conflicting weather reports but I am hopping the dude from Channel 12 is right and we get 60's. I will probably have a passenger with me. |

For those of you that had to boogie home from Course. hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! Greg and I headed West to the Northern Kettle Moraine and put on some more miles in the semi-rock covered twisties. Puts a smile on my face everytime. Put on an additional 75 miles or so. Did everbody else run into that nasty cross wind? I had to lean it pretty good to just go straight. Slimey Crud is up in the air for me. I have to really get everthing together for putting on my roof. Jerry |

Yep, another leaking Buell. Made it home in one piece. Got the cover off and replaced the gasket. It was about 1mm from a complete gusher I had a little problem with the re-assembly. It seems that a torque wrench is only as good as the torquer. I busted a nut (okay, a bolt)!!! Luckily I was able to get the broken piece out without using a drill. By that time the hardware store was closed. I should be able to finish the job tonight. As for the Slimey Crud....no go for me I'm starting a 12 day straight work schedule today. My next day off is May 10th. Maybe I'll have both bikes sorted and ready to ride by then. Back to the grind! |

Hmmm, no comments on no air at Course. Thought for certain someone would comment on the guy with the flat tire being told by the dealership that there was no air available to inflate his 4.5Lbs of air pressure according to the Bomber DigiMeter. Oh well, had a nice short ride back home. Went to get onto the freeway behind a Sheriff and he just stopped with his lights on in the middle of the lane as some woman was driving right up to him in the wrong lane on a freeway overpass. Sure all the road construction cones were confusing, but stilll ...... ;) (ps, had to bounce off SacBORG to get in here this morning, couldn't get in directly. Tried to hide from me, didn't-cha!)

CJ and Whatever, Great seeing you guys at RA and glad you got to witness my 1 lap of glory! Unfortuneately due to my collision/stall, that put us in the 'B' main (or cupcake final as Stacey likes to put it....). We won that but the bike popped a head gasket on the cooldown lap! At least it waited until the checkers. Don't tell the Troll... 'The Hustler' |
