Court...Thanks for the Crash Data. Sure wish they would do a more detailed report about alcohol/drug incidence rates in comparison to age as well as helmet vs no helmet. For that matter, I am sure they have the data sorted by brand and model of bike, but I guess that would be way too much to ask for, eh? With that in mind, I would be willing to bet that Buell would be one of the safest brands on the market as, regardless of all the banter, I have yet to see another board that is as well versed, experienced and educated as the BWB. |

Bill I recall reading somewhere that the instances of alchol playing a role in cycle deaths was somewhere up around the 65% rate. In that same study it was also concluded that a majority of those involved also lacked a proper motorcycle endorsement on their license. I never have a whole lot of faith in 1 sided studies or polls as its too ez to affect the outcome by leaving out some info. |

Is there a difference between a stock case and a race use only case? |

OK guy just got back from the drag strip today, 80degree heat "Box Stock" XB9R with only a Force pipe from Nallin Racing Head Service and a power commander the little XB that could ran consistent 11.60's at 117 tickling 118mph. This was no wheelie bar and stock ride height. I really feel the bike has a 40 or a 50 in it with a little more seat time. Oh yeah that was launching at 5000 rpm and sliding the clutch about 20 to 25 feet.As soon as I get a hold of a camera I will scan the slips and post them.. See you on the salt!! Richard |

Justin, Race use only may not have a VIN or an unregistered/unmatched VIN. Thanks to all who are enjoying the new look/feel and capabilities of the BBS. For those of you who subscribe to the email notifications, it is temporarily disabled. Should be back up within the week. |

Richard, That's impressive as usual. When you coming out to Oak Hill for a day of thrashing that thing on a road course? Just bring $100 and your various racing licenses for an all day outing at the track. Belly pan not required, just tape the lights and remove the kickstand, mirrors, and turn signals. Let me know if you are up for it. Rick, Congratulations. And thanks for sharing, unlike some on this board <ahemcoughmikejcough> who seek to hide their major personal events from us all. Neil, You suck! |

Blake, my hat is off to you on the BBS upgrades. Trying to do an upgrade on an active site is a challenge at the least and a REAL accomplishment when it over. Keep up the GREAT job. Aw, come on Blake. I can't claim all four. The S1 and the White S2 are Rall's. The other two non-descript Buells are mine (a.k.a Passion and Stripe'r). Time2Warm up Passion for work. Neil S. |

Richard, Only the oil filter (hose clamp around filter secured to nearby bracket/bolt via wire) and tranny drain plug. For just a track day you can get away without wiring the drain plug. There is no tech inspection on personal track days. |
