I'm leery of changes to a good board. The original ATC site was the best of all the Buell sites, and after it was "improved" it went to hell. I really enjoy this site (even if I can't figure out how to change letter size and color simultaneously); I hope the changes don't screw it up. Right now, I have to run around a lot just to get to this board. I don't mind; I was in the Construction Trades for over 20 years, and know that sometimes you have to use detours when something's going to be better afterwards. | ||

Crusty, whats wrong with ATC now? I think its the best it has ever been. The original one was a major pain to keep track of a topic..& the 2nd version wasnt much better, but the one Scooter is using now is good. Very ez to navigate. But I think a few folks are still having a hard time finding it because now its Americanthunderbike.org instead of .com | ||

I see the small type is now easier to read. I like the easy access to styles, links, emoticons. Nice!  | ||

Blake, whats up with the picture posting deal? I tried a bigger one & it told me must be less than 640X640 so I shrunk it down to 640 X 480 & then it told me it had to be less than 52 kb's. So I had to shrink it again but by then you lose most of the detail. I will have to read up & see if the image hosting changed. I know I tried to do the \ imagelink{ }deal & that went nowhere. | ||

Dyna, You have ALWAYS had to limit uploaded files to less than 50 KB's. I've always asked that everyone adhere to a maximum width of of 640 pixels for any uploaded pictures. We now - mwahahaha - have the ability through the new version of the BBS software, to limit physical sizes of pictures. Read my post on the Thumper Forum in reply to your pic posting woes. Basically it says... get hold of the http://www.xat.com Image Optimizer. | ||

Other than the fact that I had to go to SACBORG to find the site (old bookmark was dead), it's okay. I don't like being sent to a new URL for each thing I want to look at. I also don't know how to find the sponsor links. I'd think they might get a bit touchy about that (seeing how they're forking out the $$$ to keep this site running) Other than that, good job!!! Just my $.02 worth. I also like the fact that I currently have more posts than Dyna(the post whore )} | ||
