You can keep one of these rockets at 60 mph or below during break in. Or might I say, it takes a much better man than I to do so. Put 225 miles on it today and I can say without a doubt this is the best bike I've ever had the pleasure of riding. It eats miles up like they're nothing and begs for more. Heck, the wind was blowing, sustained over 30 mph and gusts of 48, temps in the mid 40's and I just couldn't get enough. It was windy, it was cold and my cheeks hurt from grinning so much. I bought the 1125r on a whim. If the price hadn't been cut so drastically, I would probably have never known how fantastic a bike Erik and the Elves produced. |

Oh please! You Can keep the 1125's under 60 - in first gear! After that, all bets are off! A little over 300 miles on my CR and 85 mph at break in r's is fun. 140 and 160 - holy shit - I guess your roads are a hell of a lot better than the Florida crap! |

On a CR, 6th gear at 6k is about 90mph. I was there several times today on my first break-in riding... |

Mtuly, looks like we have a lot in common! I can't stay off mine either. I never tried to stay under 60mph, just stayed under 6K as best I could. So my answer to the the "What's the speed in 6th @ 6K was 100-102 on my 09R" ... Not that I actually did that - I only read it on the internet Now that I can wind up to 7.5K, I wonder what the speed is in 6th at 7,500 revs. Anybody else know?
