Sounds like there is a need to modify the 1125 with a front mounted 20mm cannon to take care of pesky critters! Although a handle bar mounted 45-70 might be fun and not slow down acceleration the way a 20mm might! Just a thought! |

Knowing Volvo, it'll cost more to replace the light assembly than it will to fix your whole bike. Add the cost of the new hood and bumper, it'll probably cost more to fix (parts only) than you paid for your whole bike. At least I don't have to pay for it, I'm paid to tear stuff up. I bet the 6 point I hit paid a much heaftier price for his shenanagins on the highway as well. (Message edited by badlionsfan on November 07, 2009) |

Sorry that happened! I got some major pucker after having two run across the road in front of me last night, on my first night-time ride. I was just thinking about how good the headlights are on the 09R, but that I still didn't want to over-drive them. Just seconds later, DEER! Glad you are okay man! |

OMG those poor deer! Were they ok? Did you stop and perform CPR? Sorry to hear about your accidents gents. My buddy hit one earlier this year on his XB9S and the bike held up really well. He actually had deer hide and fuzz in between the tire and the rim. It held air! The little turds all all over the road this time of year in the Ozarks. We need a longer muzzle loading season! |

I found one Halloween night in my mustang. I was only going 40 but it was still 2500 in damage on the left side. I love my car, but my very first thought was how glad I was that it wasn't the bike. |

Hey Reducatti, I'm glad you are OK. It could have turned ugly given a few more inches. Stay well Xo. |

Geforce, Ozarks? I didn't know we were kinda close. I live in Springfield, MO and have gotten used to seeing deer in our back yard. That's not quite the same pucker factor as seeing one on the road though ... Mike |
