I am working on a new air intake, and now my bike won't start, it gives me the low Fuel Sys error b1005. The bike will turn over and fire a couple times, then die. Any Idea what causes this error to trigger? Also what are the two tubes going into the airbox? Thanks |

Ok, I got it to start. I don't think the fuel rail is broken, I would expect to see fuel leaking somewhere. The code still shows up in diagnostic mode. So my stupid mistake, I figured I would use a paper towel to cover the black tube temporarily to make sure nothing gets into it, and that was causing the bike to not start. I will have to figure out something better there. Is there a way to clear the codes? |

I believe 20 "clean" starts will clear the code. |

Codes clear after 50 clean starts. B1005 is the code I get with a CEL - fuel level sensor out of spec. I'm getting the fuel pump replaced - warranty. Zack |
