Anyone have a steering damper on there CR wondering how you mounted it because the ones I have seen for the R wont fit because of our handlebars. |

The Buell race kit Ohlins should fit, I think... |

Yeah, I think the Ohlins will fit. The GPR won't because of the top clamp for the bars. |

Well I noticed the ohlins said something about mounting near the key lock and stay mount, and seeing as our CR doesnt have a stay and locks are different too, wasnt sure. |

mounted the Buell kit yesterday on a R, mounts just above the lower tree. should fit a CR with no clearance problems. the yoke mounts to the frame at the lower lug that supports the fairing/instement cluster and the upper of 2 holes taped in the frame directly below that. there is a harness ground in that hole now that needs to be moved. check the bottom side of the fairing support on the CR to a R, the is the only problem i could see. NOTE , when you install this kit ,instructions state"standing in front of motorcycle" they tell you to install the clamp in the left fork which to me is sitting on the bike, but no it goes on the clutch side, caused me a bit of frustation |

if im not mistaken, the headlight on the CR gets in the way of the mounting. |

pics? There aren't many dampers that look good on a buell. I know it doesn't have to look good, but it doesn't hurt. |

if it mounts you wont be able to see the ohlins as it goes under the gauge cluster |
