I bought my xb9sx with traction grips all ready installed, so I new nothing else. Moving to the CR was an eye opener for me. The stock grips are like pencils in comparison.

Some people say the stock grips are fine for them, but for $18 you really should see what you are missing.

I'm with ya! Went from stock to the traction grips and love them! Definitely a good upgrade, especially if you have bigger hands like me.

Never tried them but I do have the heated grips on my R which are much thicker then the stocks, probably similar to those.

The CR looks alot nicer without the stock mirrors.

Have any pics of your front blinker install?

I'll be going with the traction grips also. I think they will look great with my oberon mirrors and bar end indicators.

You can see the blinkers in that picture, but here are some I posted in another thread.

They are flush mount LED's for a cbr1000.

Looking for some to replace the giant rear signals, I came across these.

Not sure how well they work, but the possibilities are endless.

The CR most definitely looks better without the mirrors.

They are not as visible as i'd hoped, especially from the front. I might get some led strips to put in each pod, I think that would look slick and be much more visible from the front. From the side these work fine, but looking from an angle you really only need the rear signals, lol!

here's the lights at night.

Always gone with the traction grips. Had them on my XB9SX and had to have them on my 1125R. Didn't even ride it before they were put on. Dealer took care of that for me.

They are so much more comfy! I didn't notice much vibration with the stock grips.

Just finished with the handlebar relocation. Took about 2.5 hours. No real issues.

You look real fast on that side stand, you should be wearing proper riding gear so you don't hurt yourself in case you catch your foot when you get off.

The traction grips are thinner than the heated. I've used all three and have the heated grips on my CR and the stock grips on my S3T (same grips as the rest of the current Buells), and the stock ones are most comfortable for me - all depends on your hand and how you like to grip it.
