To riders in the Michigan area who may be going to the Baldwin Blessing of the Bikes. My wife and I have a cabin within 2 miles of the Blessing. We give an open invitation to all our friends to stop by. Get out of the sun (or rain or snow). Clean bathrooms. (your wife/g.f. will thank you) Some free food and Liquids. Sit a spell and relax before heading home. Very low key and family-friendly. Not trying to make money. This is actually the social highlight of my year. Blackbelt: The actual Blessing is at the Baldwin Airport, Baldwin, MI. The date is Sunday, May 18, 2003. Look on the internet for more info, or see www.multimag.com/city/mi/baldwin/ blessingofthebikes. It is sponsored by Para-Dice M/C. The atmosphere is 98% family friendly. Although you will see many bikers in Colors, there is almost never trouble. It is not like a Daytona bike week event. Baldwin is not a prosperous community, and the area benefits tremendously from this charity event. Ask around, someone you know has probably been. Go to Mapquest for a map to Baldwin. Look about 1 mile south of town for the airport. My cabin is less than 2 miles from the airport. Mapquest lists my address wrong, search for intersection of : W 68th St & Sherman Ave, Baldwin, MI, 49304 for a detailed map to my cabin. On June 29th we will be having the 3rd annual Multi BRAG group ride to Prairie DuChein WI. Meet up with us at the Pizza Hut on the South end of town between 11and 12 NOON. We will then go ride some of the best roads in the Midwest. After the ride we will be going to a Bar and Grille on the river for some eats and Buellshit time. All riders and brands are welcome! FYI - We need to try and get a count of the number of Buell 20th Anniversary posters that are needed. They will be sold at $5 each to help cover the cost of shipping them. To view the poster (minus a few logos) you can click on the link under "Quick Board" and "20th Anniversary Poster" thread in M2me's post dated June 9th. The poster will be 17" x 24" !! At this point we just need a really good idea of how many we need in order for everyone to get what they want !! When the poster is printed, possibly by the end of June per m2me, we will post the information on where to send the money for the posters, and as the checks are recieved the posters will be mailed out !! In order to keep folks from having to repeat their posts if they have already put in a request, I've listed what we have so far in the 20th Anniversary thread !! Thanks, cjmblast  | ||
