Damn had to check mileage, I was off quite a bit. Thought I only put 50 on but actually it was 96. Not bad for just screwing around & being kinda cold today. |

Rode in to work this morning and had one slight slip on an intersection corner, either white strip or tar strip or ice patch induced. Just a little two-wheel sideways slight adjustment in the line in first gear. Nothing major, about a half-coffee cup worth of ping. Apart from that just a little chilly. What time are you guys heading up to Course on Sunday? What route? What arrival time up there? Got three term papers coming due, but still would like to go for a short zip on the bike. |

Mike, supposed to meet at Hals at 11:00 am, leave at 11:30. Dont have a clue on the route so ETA is available. Supposed to get a bite to eat either there or at the delicious Dairy Queen right on the corner Now I get an e-mail from Dennis saying he may not be able to make the ride. Who's heading this thing up?? |

The Bublitz's restaurant next door has been good the couple of times I've eaten there. Small but usually well stocked buffet with a Sunday Brunch offering. Just found a fairly quick direct route from Cedarburg to Fredonia, will check the maps for a more "fun" route to Saukville. I think whoever is at the front of the line is the leader, and is usually the one who gives the first bluelight autograph. |

All right, I'll come up with a route there. Saukville is about 40 miles from Hal's. So if we leave Hal's at 11:30a.m. Then it should take us no longer than about an hour. So figure we arrive 12:30, 1:00 p.m. at the latest. The route there will be semi-backroads and will only be semi-interesting.(Not responsible for any boredom ) This will be the first group ride for the season for some. Also the roads have definetely improved, but still have a lot of crapola on them!! There will be lunch and general gawking at the bikes when we arrive. After that the route we take can be free form, Holy Hill area may be considered, etc. Just remember that riding skills and roads aren't a good match this time of year. I'll post the general route to the Cafe on Badweb by Saturday night, and I will have a route sheet for Sunday. This will only be a route sheet to get to the Corsa Cafe. I will leave the ending for our own doing. Jerry |

You mean the "extremely fast" Blast 1) Yeah all...small change of plans (for me, not the group). I'll be working the demo day at Hal's on Saturday. They asked me to assist so I'm bagging the training gig. I hope to see a good turnout from the BCB group. 2) Thanks to Jerry to taking the reins on this Sunday's ride. I didn't get to spend Easter with the family so we're going something is Sunday. 3) I need to make a decision on the patches. We don't have the $$$ to place an order at this time. I'd like to start a sign-up list for additional patch purchases. That way I'll know how many we need and how much $$$ we have to work with. I'm thinking $5-$7 for each additional. Does this sound fair? I basically need every member to purchase 2 additional patches (on an average). Back to the daily grind! I hope to see a bunch of you there on Saturday!!! |

CJ...I am confident you will like Jerry's "Mellow Yellow" Blast. When Jerry and I did the HH ride two weeks ago, I was amazed at either how quick his bike was or how slow mine is. He led the ride at a very sporting pace and I just sat back and enjoyed using him for "Bear Bait." LMAO Concerning graphics, I know a gal in Franklin that just had a Naked Indian and ghost flames airbrushed on her Sporty. You will be able to see it on display at Hal's Open House. I can get you the name of the artist if you wish, but you can't miss Shirley at Hal's, She is about Char's size and rides the best looking Sporty I have ever seen. |
