Not sure how rare these are, and I wouldn't suggest actually putting one on your bike, but here's a rear shock with the recall collar installed - neat little item for a collection, I'd think. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BUELL-SHOCK-MUST-SE E-stock-part-take-off-nice-shape_W0QQcmdZViewItemQ QhashZitem2ea64e37d5QQitemZ200358639573QQptZMotorc yclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_1468wt_912 |

A more rare one that's useful is the early style WP rear shock with exposed spring. Those bring big bucks on ebay. This one? Not so much. =) Unless you are into collars and stuff. |

It is not correct for the bike of course but I got a brand new WP shock and put it on my X1 for $100. It was removed when brand new for an aftermarket unit. Works great on my X1 compared to the leaky stocker. |

Yes,At bottle and at rear of shock.I,ve had it on for 25,000 miles now. It,s a 97,98 style White-Power.Not as fancy as origanale, pressed end brackets for spring not cast and machined as 95,96.It is a heaver duty too.Reasin they called back eyes where breaking off end of shock at race track I herd. Also much prettier too than can!

I still have a recall/clamp shock on my 2000X1. I called customer service awhile back to see if they were replacing them but gave up after 20 min. on hold. |
