Sleeper_777, Yes, You always do that.. When UI am on the dyno I do that every time I made a run and program the bike and make the next run, when I don't do that, there is/can be a difference in AF measuring. Because the TPS sensor is giving different signal to the ECM where it is in the TPOS range. Then the bike wil run richter wich is a save ting but you don't want that.. And what is s.s. version |

Torquaholic, When it is a race ECM GSD helps you oyt, When it is the STOCK ECM The customers have to send the ECM too us, We wrote our own software, to reprogram the ECM.. It is not that easy, And the software is not leaving our building. The group Buy will be completly supported buy GSD. I have to talk to GSD how we do the programming of the Stock ECM's. This is new for both of us, but I need the ECM here.. I come back on that one.. In the meanwhile people can send me the ECM The product on our site is here: http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/webshop/artikel.asp? guid=YXHFSC&aid=2443&cid=9640&s=&a= |

Speedy818, That is a very good question. NO you cannot backup your ECM with ECMSPY, becuase it only backups what it can find and that is not correect for the 1125 Models. I suggest that if you like too do that buy a extra ECM. or go to the dealer and havbe a official reflash, the problem with that is that if you reflash it, you need to send it too me again. |

Smoke4ndmears, I'm guessing you are talking about the white area, it is just paint. That's were the sides connect to the upper fairing. It's the Buell race faring. |

So how do you do the three twist throttle reset? |

cafefun, Just turn on the key, wait (it is not nescecary) untill the check engine light go's off, (DON"T START THE BIKE) then make a WOT (full throttle) and let it go, do this 3 times, with a 2 second interval and you are ready to go, the TPS is reset, and the bike runs as t should be.... Dris, thanks for your reply. I believe Sleeper_777 was referring to the stainless steel exhaust when he wrote "s.s. version", not the black version we usually see. Based off the link you provided for the tuning service in your shop, the currency exchange rate today looks like it will cost $443 US dollars to have the ECM flashed. I don't think that price includes shipping charges to you. Does it include shipping charges back to the customer or would the customer need to pay for that as well? Thanks. |

Dris, Can you provide a new, flashed ecm to your specs and how much? I would just hate to have my bike at the dealer and have them re-flash a good tune right out of it. I have a 08 California bike and all ready have your muffler. I am very interested in your tune one way or another. |

Dris: I'll try not to disappoint you with rolling up some miles and reporting on my impressions. Buellsrule and I did about 180 miles on Sunday, including my stoppie lesson :+} (Frank can explain that ) My normal mileage is about 600 miles a week, more during warmer weather, but electrics help with that. From looking at your plots, I can tell that you have taken the time to get things right. I'm sure that many small changes in the TH geometry along with many changes in the mapping, and boat loads of patience, have gotten you to this point. Now all I have to do is have patience waiting for the package to arrive. Next weekend is great for me to do an R&R after I get the clutch leak fixed (my kit arrived) Oh yeah the sound from the vids sounds awesome. Now my "girls" (two Shelties)will know when I'm coming home. They can tell my ST1300, with Staintune's, when I'm a block away, the TH should be a welcome change from the "concrete mixer" sounds of the stock 1125. The tq and hp looks to be waaaay fun too! A little more of each is ALWAYS a very good thing! Time2Run Neil S. |
