I put a D&D pipe on my '08 1125r and now it idles worse than it did before and stalls a lot when first started hot or cold. So I need to remap (even though D&D said I shouldn't have too). My questions is should I go with a daytona twintec box or ecmspy? I am having a hard time even finding ecmspy and a cable. When I do will there be so many options I am more likely to mess it up? The twin tech is $216 and requires no pc hook up even though there is a option for that. Works a lot like a power commander from what I understand, has a dial and some buttons. Options also to consider - Jardine super tuner 3 O S B Tune pros and cons of ea - how much do you want to fiddle with it? I know the jardine doesn't do the fine tuning that others can do. I'm eventually going to do the same, but running stock for the foreseeable future. GL! |

Carbon the Twin-Tuner does Buell 1125's Twin Tuner Fuel Injection Controller (for 2001-2010 Harley-DavidsonŽ Twin-Cam with 36 pin DelphiŽ system and 2008-2010 BuellŽ with DDFI). Not legal for sale or use on pollution controlled vehicles. It seems to have good power I just want to be able to tune the idle as is stalls when first cranked a few times, whether the engine is warm or not. |
