I was playing with Photoshop and came up with this concept. What do people think (of the idea, not of my Photoshop skills -- I kind of rushed this one through anyway)?

Kinda neat, but I am a sucker for military type stuff. It's one of those things that would either be awesome or look silly.... however, work in a pin up girl on it somewhere (flyscreen?) and you can't go wrong |

@Buzzie "we saw that one months ago...sorry" If you find a link to that, I'd like to see what someone else came up with. I thought I saw a military looking XB, but I hadn't seen an 1125CR done up that way. |

I think the pinup girl would have to go on the tank. Either in the middle or one on each side. Probably the sides -- tank bag would not cover and I would not be as distracted. |

I had a race TL1000 painted up like that years ago. It was a beast. The kids loved it - especially the big teeth! |

Heck I mocked the same shark face up on my X1 in 2000 but Fred has carried it further and more complete. Great concept and excution. Can you do something with a stylized Eagle/ Hawk head concept on the pods? THanks Neil S. |

Thanks everyone -- including those who were so kind as to overlook my lack of Photoshop talent and the patience to really do a good job. My inspiration was the 2010 graphics on the pods. Once you break up the surface a little, they seem to get much better looking. I wanted something aggressive looking that fit with the military function-over-form look to the scoops. And I wanted to feature them rather than downplay them. If people would like to buy me a whole set of plastics and pay for the painting, I'd be willing to post a photo or two of the results. Anyone? I'd make your tail number: "1125CR" Unless those numbers have significance for you. Oh yeah, and I'd paint the muffler like whatever is hanging under the plane. External fuel tank?? (Message edited by chadhargis on November 04, 2009) |

That is awesome. You should put the winged tiger jumping through a "V" logo on the tank, one of the group logos (Adam and Eve, Panda Bears or Hells Angels) on the frame, and black out or olive drab the brake caliper. |
