I'm looking for a few factory components for a '97 S1: front hub assembly with rotor exhaust heat shield lower belt guard . . . and, if anybody has these lying around: forcewinder intake ss l.p. relocator rear carbon fiber fender (small) billet foot pegs crg bar end mirrors corbin seat I'd gladly take those off your hands! I like used parts because they will go on a daily driver and minor scuffs and scratches are no big deal! I'm willing to trade for some items I will be listing in the for sale section as soon as I take pictures. They include: napoleon bar end mirrors S1 twin tail section with seat (black) hypercharger intake rear OEM carbon fiber fender (painted) stock intake components stock foot pegs . . others Tony |

I've got a brand new S2 seat that I picked up awhile back with thoughts of fabricating a tandem backrest for. I'm thinking in a different direction now so might be starting to think of getting rid of it. Like new, sat in a dealer's inventory room for a bit, sat on my S2 for a few minutes without being sat upon or latched. Let me know what you think it is worth to you. I'm into it a bit deep but will consider offers, I haven't taken the Dremel tool to it yet. (Who needs Corbin when they can't figure out how to put a backrest onto an S2, or don't want to even venture a guess as to the price even if they could. The Corbin rep was very happy to see me leave his area last year at one event because he didn't like telling one customer that Corbin can fab anything, then telling me in the next breath that they can't. Oh well.) |

yup, comes off with yer basic paint remover. 10 minutes with the air sander with a superfine scotchbrite pad, 15 minutes on the buffer wheel, and it'll look like chrome. The good part is that it doesn't get hot enough to tarnish like the polished headers do. My S1W picture in my profile is an old picture but that part was already polished at that time, you can see how it looks. |

Stingaroo, if you just want something to plug the hole until you get a proper plug, go to any auto repair shop and ask for a dead O2 sensor that's been removed from a car or any muffler shop that does custom work. Most automotive headers come with a plug for the O2 sensor hole. I'm pretty sure they are all the same thread, 18mm (I'm not sure of the thread pitch). Some old car engines used spark plugs with 18 mm thread so you may be able to use a one of these spark plugs as a temporary plug. I know that AC Delco 83TS, 84TS, 85TS and 86TS spark plugs all have 18mm thread. |

Hey thanks for all the imput guys!! Buellidan pulled through for me, he gave me a parts number for a Bosch 02 sensor, Part# 12014. Cost about $17.00. Fitted like a champ, even ran the wire and tied it up, now my M-2 looks fuel injected!! Figure i could also hook up an air-fuel gauge to see how she is running. JohnC, a friend of mine took your advice, he had the X-1 header on his 2002 M-2, he is running a about the same system I am and does not have any dealerships within 100 miles. He took one outta an old car, you where right, its about 18mm he said. Really fellas thank you, now I can go meet my Dad this weekend and wish him a Happy Easter face to face! |

Fellow Bueller needs a part. Does anybody have an old front exhaust hanger laying around collecting dust? A Austin Bueller here bought an X1 with a home made exhaust in which the previous owner decided to mount the can directly to the engine case w/o any rubber. Of course it broke within 200 miles. Maybe somebody put the new Y bracket on and you have the old hanger still. He's pretty broke so buying the new Y hanger is a bad option for him so would appreciate it if somebody could help. chevydan1@hotmail.com |

There are 3 sets of stock bars for an S-3. 55925-99Y Handlebar, low 55945-99Y Handlebar, high 55872-97Y Handlebar (Eur) - International Only You can order them from any Buell dealer. Personally, I'd call Jim at Badweb sponsor Buell of Waterloo to insure it's done right the first time. The International is likely not available in the U.S.A. The plugs, that go in the end of the bars, are 55946-99Y (2 required) NOTE: Buell improved their numbering scheme a couple years ago. Any Buell dealer will be able to convert these part numbers to the NEW Buell nonmenclature which will look something like 1234.45X Court |

Brian... many tank bags will mount backwards as a tail bag and work great. I can shoot some pictures of my setup if anyone is interested. It uses carabiners through the factory supplied underseat nylon straps, and a plastic beltbuckle type thing as a quick release. You can buy the generic bags for like $30 if you look hard enough. I can remove it enough to check the oil in about 5 seconds, and remove it completely for washing the bike in about a minute. It works great and (IMHO) looks better on the bike then a tank bag. I had to scare up a little extra strapping material and an extra buckle, but any rock climbing / camping place has that stuff really cheap. Bill |

I was ran off the road last week and need some parts. I need the front fairing for a 99 M2. It does not have to be stock, I was thinking of going a little larger, but I want to keep my round headlight setup. I also need the following list, front wheel (black), both front tubes, S3 type bars, right side (starter) controls, right side mirror. I am all right, I was wearing all my gear, body armor ect. the jerk who ran me off the road did not even stop!! If any one can help you can reach me at vkitt2434@aol.com |

If you want to pay for one, SportTwin.com (BadWeb sponsor) sells them. I think they're around $50 |
