I called my dealer but they weren't sure what I needed and wanted me to come in to verify before they ordered. Only problem is that I live 180 miles away. Anyway, I need left side pod cover and black leading edge of the pod. I need the left side engine puck/slider and a swingarm bobbin. If somebody could provide those numbers for me it would be greatly appreciated. This is for an 09 arctic white 1125R. |

Sounds like you need someone in parts that knows Buells! I would suggest that you call one of our sponsors and ask them. They would probably even give you a discount. Ain't it grand to have good support! |

Got a parts book for my 08 first thing. The local HD/B parts guys are so grateful when I arrive with numbers. Worth the money. |

When I'm buried at the counter, I break out in a big smile when the next customer HAS the p/n handy. It's my job to take care of as many as I can, especially when we're busy. I have never worked retail before, much less a parts counter... it ain't as easy as it looks. I learned quick about touching a part when called about availability. Dyslexia makes chasing long numbers fun too. I keep a note pad handy. I will NEVER scream at another parts guy as long as I live tho... I only have an 08 parts book at home. If you still need numbers/prices tomorrow, e-mail me at - parts@highcountrharley.com The pod is both exposed pieces, the shiny and the textured. Should still be p/n M1034.1AMMW, MSRP ~$60, 21 day vendor-direct lead time Ignition cover puck w/o-ring - R1021.1AM, ~$5 MSRP No bobbins in my book... Zack |

Yeah, parts books are good. For a lot of reasons. Good to get on the good side of the parts guy at the counter, f'rinstance. Good if emailing around or calling around for parts. Speeds things up -- getcher part, get out and ride. Good when working on the bike along with the shop manual. |

Tyroneous I suggest that you let Zach have your business on these items... after all he did do the work to earn it. T |

Thanks Tom - If I ever make it out that way to visit Neil(Ccryder) I'll stop by your dealerships and say hi. If you'd like Tyrroneous, e-mail me at the address above your parts needs. Include your address and a phone number. When I get it all together, I'll call you, get payment and ship you the parts when they get in. I don't think we offer any discounts yet, I can attack it on a case-by-case tho. Zack |
