I'm in Maryland. I got a red 09 1125r for $6995 +tax I got a 08 1125r for $5100 +tax Can't find a CR and I'm hearing #'s as high as $8K from on R's. Both of the above are local. I'm concerned on the 08 in terms of first year issues. But let me know your thoughts, is it worth $1900 more to get an 09, are either of these good enough deals to move on? I really want an 1125 before they're all gone. | ||

If your dealer really searches he might be able to find a CR but act fast. I just sealed the deal on a CR yesterday and they need to ship the bike up from NC. I'm getting it from Old Glory in Laurel. If you can't find a CR you may as well take your pick on a R. I like the blue frame on the R but you'll also have the various recall to take care of. I'm not sure how much work is involved but you should be able to convert the R to a CR. The parts should still be available for some time but I'm not sure how simple of a switch it'll be. The base price of my CR is the same you were quoted for the '09R Good luck! | ||

I bought my 08r for the same price you stated. I am in Westminster MD and had to go to Philly to pick it up (no biggy as it was a fun ride back). Just like the other post in here stated the invoice is 10,3k so that makes it 5300 plus tax and tag. So any more than that ... ie your 7k number is way to much. Keep shopping and be willing to travel. May I ask where the 09 r is for 7k? I know the HD dealer in Williamsport told me that they were getting another batch in and I could be put on a list but I think he was like 7700 OTD (for instate MD resident). Either way good luck. Looks like we are getting a slew of MD Buell riders we will have to get a big ride going someday and hit up some twisties!! | ||

Gateway Harley Davidson still has a large selections of Buells ...but the "deals" are dwindling. I myself bought a white 1125R today from the dealership I work at. but I didn't get the deal you all got. | ||

I actually know the owner, Steve. He sponsored a few of us this past season for the GT2 endurance class in the AMA. We were running a XB12R and even with the connection my price was 6700+tax,fees etc. I didn't find the dealer invoice until after I signed the paperwork but he's been really good to us throughout the season. I just keep looking at it like I got $5k off which is still amazing. What did you get it for? It's pretty cool there are so many MD riders. I know a killer route around Frederick I can't wait to hit up again. My other bike has been off the road since '05 so it'll be good to get out there again. I got the CR for $6000+ everything. Not the greatest I've seen but it beats the Hell out of $11,995. I don't get over to Fredrick often mostly roads around Davidsonville and Annapolis. Really would like to do a get-together sometime. | ||
