Ironically now that buell has went under . They have more credabilty that they ever had . With 1125R and XB12R being sold for 5000$. Many Japanese sportbike owners are grabbing them up as a trackday bike or a second sportbike. As many of us as Buell owners have always suspected. The general public are now experiancing superb handling and bottom end power of the Buells and comming back with extream praise for the machines. One thing is also expressed among the new owners of the american sportbike ... Why on earth didnt we know about Buells earlier ? If Harley Davidson had put some effort into mechandising these machines I would certainly had one sooner. Yet Anouther view of the japanese sportbike owner is Buell finally got chance to show what he can do , puts a great bike together with a modern motor and then Harley shuts them down ? I am a little suprised myself with the way the japanese sportbike crowd has taken to the cause of Buell motorcycles and Erik Buell himself . |

I dont know if anyone hits any other motorcycle forums ( other brands) But they all seem to have empathy . The 2 that dont in general are HTTP://www.mvagusta.net ... Biggest assholes on the net. And, not as bad but not really caring much is http://www.hdforums.com |

Yeah there are some strong opinions over on hdforums. Not sure I care what MV'ers think. Their brand should have been belly up last year. |

Some forums I've seen sympathy with a smattering of hostility. Nothing new and it's mostly from the younger kids others are countering with real facts and some are beside themselves that they were able to get a good deal! Some bikers I spoke too didn't even know Buell was ceasing production... a little sad. But at the same time, with so many people riding in other camps it's not that surprising, just too bad. |
