Kevin, If you can swing the $$$, Aerostitch is the way to go! http://www.aerostich.com/ Damn, they are more expensive than I remember. I aint got one! A 2-piece from Joe rocket would do well to, and cheaper. Thats what I got. Check Newenough.com, always good deals and good stuff! http://www.newenough.com/protective_apparel/textil e_jackets_and_pants/ |

Ditto on the Joe Rocket two piece...even got it through newenough.com as well! I got the mesh jacket for summer time, but so far with the water/wind proof liner in I've been fine in the colder temps. |

Ok...I need help before I break my bike further...as it is I can't make it to Hoss's tonight... My brake light has quit working. The brake light itself still seems to work fine if I plug the wire for the running light into it, but when I have the brake line plugged into it I get nothing. I had tapped another set of lights into the brake line when it stopped working, so I thought maybe I had broken the line with the wire tap...stripped it back to where I tapped it and the wire is fine, just not getting power. Any ideas? |

Are you actually getting voltage through the wires? |

have you tried it with both your front and rear brakes. the front brake light switch on Buells can be touchy. if it works with the rear brakes remove the front brake light switch wash it down with WD40 air it out and retry. |

Not sure on the voltage (have no multimeter), but I would guess no. Tried multiple lights on the brake line and nada...no juice. Both front and rear give no light. |

Check engine light is staying on now...will it do that for a bad wire? |

Yep, you got a short somewhere! Start with the simple stuff first, like chaffed wires anywhere you moved wires. Check the fuse too. |

Check the fuse too. Yeah, now you tell me! I was able to get the code for the check engine light, 21, which was the exhaust actuator. That was from the d&d we just put on. Rode it to Hoss's and Matt found my bad fuse. Could have sworn I check those... |

i know we gave you a ration of shit for 'calling 911' on a blown fuse and a trouble code, but it was all in good spirit so please don't take offense. |

kevin, if you can find what you are looking at buying locally, i'd say go 'try it on' for a good 20 minutes. and if not check out the reviews on webikeworld/newenough that's the best new gear advice i can tell you |

dwight, like i said u got to push urself to lean the bikes over. go to an empty lot to practice. The worst thing you will do is drop the bike, if you worried about that then take off the lights/ mirrors. Other than that u just got to be ballsie.. Nilla, hows the new wheels? Everyone else that got new wheels? |

Goody, what time are you going to southside? I'm shooting a friend's kid's soccer team at 11, but could head down for a little while after that. Would just have to be back in time to take my kiddo out begging for candy! I vote for bourbon in the kegerator...I'm not much of a beer drinker... |
