Anybody running one? Do you like it? Less than $25 bucks. WOW! To good to be true? Looks like the 400MM fits "Buell". Is that the size I need? |

$25 steering damper? What is it? A bunch of bungee cords strapped to the forks and frame? |

Do you actually need a damper? As in, do you actually have steering oscillation to control? If you do, you're trusting your life to whatever damper you choose. I, personally, would worry about something of that quality. On the other hand, if you just wanna bolt crap to your bike, go nuts. |

here is one on the bay item # 370184353885 "As in, do you actually have steering oscillation to control?" I get a few mild tank slappers on the niner every once and a while. I figure with the 1125's lofty front I would be seeing more steering oscillations. I ran across the "7 Way" while learning bout these devices. |

I'm pretty sure GPR makes one for the 1125R/CR |

Interesting, it's just the dampner tube, no mounting hardware. If you buy that you'll have some parts to be machined. But for 17.88 I may have to try one out. Chinese knock-off no doubt, but... Z Wow, shipping is 35 bucks! Nyet. (Message edited by zac4mac on October 29, 2009) |

Someone with racing knowledge said years ago, if you're having trouble in the front end be sure to look at things in the rear also. Sometimes a front oscillation can be caused from incorrect rear damper settings or other things like rear wheel alignment, tire pressure, etc. And as at least some have alluded to keeping a "relaxed" but total control on the bars helps also. Works for me. Bob |

Um, no. I wouldn't trust a cheapo one with my life. |
