Thinking of getting the side fairings. What have you guys paid and where? Ok to post if they came on the bike/were thrown in, but try and give me an idea. |

I saw a feller with R6 lowers on his. I did not ask how much he spent , but he seemed to think other options were way too expensive. |

it was the dairyland 1125R AMA race bike. Here is a pic from the Hotbodies site. Looks like it would bolt up pretty close. Lowers, belly pan, white, $190. I might buy one.

Agustus74, See below for a picture of my 1125R with lowers from Catalyst composites I bought from Glendale HD/Buell in California. Total cost including shipping was $285.00. You need to make brackets for it though as none are supplied. I did a nice writeup on it last year with pictures. It also would need painting.

According to Dudley Perkins, Buell is mailing the lowers to dealers for free. When I bought my R from another dealer, they suggested that the fairings cost $500. I offered to pay labor. They ended up being rolled into the negotiated price. |

I have a deposit on order for an 1125R but at a really good price and didn't think the dealership would throw in the side fairings for free but I guess it can't hurt to ask! HMMMMMM....Yamaha sides, who woulda thought? The Firebolts actually take Yamaha levers too??? |

$385 shipped from a dealer in Minnesota. I have yet to find a suitable bellypan but Endoman seems to be on the right track with his Gixxer 'thou job. I still can't believe they released the 'lowers' (which would more accurately be labeled as sides) without an option to get a freakin' street bellypan to match up. Hell - theres even two holes at the bottom to mate up to 'something'! |

If you really need a bellypan just strap a turkey pan on it. It's race legal if done right. |
