Well stopped by the dealer to have the lastest flash installed as I have read it really smoothes out the bike which I must say it's 100% Better but I feel I have lost alot of midrange power. I used to beable to whellie in 3rd under power but forget about it now the is no way. Also used to snap right up in second and now it really has to be worked at to get it up in second as well. i almost would rather have my rough fueling back along with the power whellies that made me grin from ear to ear. anyone else notice this? |

I've considered seeing what flash mine has and getting the latest and greatest, but mine is so damn good I don't want to change it. |

I don't know what version my CR has. No way to tell that I know of. All I know is that it runs like a scalded ape and is the BEST stock tune I've ever experienced. |

I posted this in my own flash thread, but I just returned from the maiden ride (67 miles) on my '09R. It has the M3HUS131 version according to the dealer, and I thought it ran amazingly well all across the board. If the new ones are better, I'm not sure I'd be able to hold on Mike |

I don't know what version my CR has. No way to tell that I know of. Maybe someone from Bumpus knows...I will have my own opinion of the 131 flash next week hopefully. I am just a little disappointed that the Ohio software is applicable. |

The 131 is the one I had installed and not sure if it makes as much hp in the middle now. |

I don't know what version my CR has. No way to tell that I know of. All I know is that it runs like a scalded ape and is the BEST stock tune I've ever experienced. If you have ecmspy and a cable, then you can tell by the firmware. O.S.B has all the firmware version and their coinciding flash numbers. My 09 CR has the 12Z flash and it surges during cruise. I'm trying to decide whether I should get it flashed with the latest 141 flash or wait and buy the O.S.B flash. |

Cafe, you said that you loaded the 131, which is the latest one? My dealer told me the same, but then I saw threads/posts saying that 141 was the latest one. Mine's the only one I've ridden (on 131), so I don't have any comparatives on mid-range versus others. It was plenty smooth, but I didn't have as much trouble keeping the front wheel down as I thought I might ... Mike |

My bike just got M3PUS141 flash yesterday, so I'm guessing that's the most up to date? |

Well I just stopped back in and asked the dealer if he could reinstall my old flash and he said yes so if it quits raining I will go back and get my power back. Dealer said he can believe I lost power because it's his understanding the flash took timing away. So give me my surg back along with my 2nd and 3rd gear wheelies. |

can't speak for the 12z or the 131 but my 09' CR went from the 10z to the 141 and I love it. smoother, faster, quiet, cooler. |

Steve Have you rode your Buell hard, I find it very hard to beleive you think it's faster with the 141. it just killed the power of my bike to the point I'm pissed off. i could power wheelie second gear to the point it would flip over if I was not carefull, No I can pull on the bars and barely get to come up. did some roll ons with an 08 Busa with the old tune and I could actually be a bike ahead untill about 145 when he would start walking away. no he just kills me. went back to the dealer today to see if they could reinstall the old one and they say no. I'm very dissapointed in the bike now knowing what I had before. It's truely not as fun now. I feel now If I buy an exhaust it will get me back to where I was which sucks. |

Guys, keep in mind that the CR and the R do NOT use the same flash. FYI. R |

Carbon, that's the first I'm heard that ... Not doubting it since I'm the noob here, but why would they be different, other than possibly they have different final drive gearing ratios? Mike |

Rob,you may have solved the issue. It's possible the 131 is for the R and the 141 is for the CR. |
