I got the decals sitting here with me for my CR, just that the moment I put them on I know they are gonna get ripped to shreds next time I end up in a ditch. |

Kind of funny how parts are available for bikes that were never even made, lol. Realistically, they probably had all this stuff made up in preparation for the 2010 model runs. Now, no 2010 models, so they best thing they can do is keep all the surplus available for sale. Having the materials just sitting there does nobody any good. |

I just bought an 09 1125R white and blue. Dumb question, was there any of those graphics for the R or just the CR? |

Looks great! I just ordered the '10 decals for my 1125R from my dealer last night. Quick question though...did you shoot any clear coat on after applying the decals? Do you think it's necessary? Just wondering about the thickness of the material and how well they adhere. |

It's standard 3M automotive vinyl. It is permanent and can only be removed by destroying it. YOU MUST install these using the soapy water method just like any other 3M car vinyl. It will stick instantly if surface is dry and you will have just blown the cost of the decal. |

I think I'm going to just order a set of '10 pods, so I still have my 'virgin' 09s (that and I don't trust myself to put them on straight, or without bubbles)...I also like the look of the airbox protector. My CR is my first black bike. I had a black truck once...never again. I'm already - after a whopping 96 miles - dreading trying to keep this thing clean and scratch-free! |

Once I install my High Bars I might take the airbox protector off ... I never had an issue scratching the airbox on my XB12Scg with the high bars ... the CR with the Clubmans is a different story. I had scratches after the first ride .. |

Thanks Dmhines. I'll admit...I've never applied 3M automotive vinyl and am unfamiliar with the "soapy water" method, but it sounds kind of self-explanatory. I may be contacting you again if there are no specific installation details that come with the decals. I've already got a bit of "dulling" where the front of my leather jacket rubs the airbox cover. Since the small magnetic tank protectors obviously won't work on plastic, I'll be looking for something self adhesive that can easily be replaced once it too eventually becomes scratched or dulled. I'll check the posts for what other riders are using. |

The other choice would be the paint protector sheets. They're just a clear stick-on sheet like contact paper. Al has 'em at American Sport Bike. I'm considering having a painter friend of mine paint the seat surround (the flat area around the driver seat, stopping at the 'corners' where it goes from horizontal to vertical), the leading edge of the passenger pillion cover, and the knee cutouts in the airbox lid the same color and texture as the frame...black bike, Villain Black frame...the only real change would be the texture. |

Alright, i'm probably an idiot, but i can't figure it out. I have a Red R. I'd like the graphics that match the Red R on the Buell site. I notice that the graphics for the Red and white are the same, but i can't figure out which from froggys' list they are exactly, i mean there's 4 exact same pod descriptions with different part numbers... Thanks for any help. Pete |

Looks like HD has the description wrong for the R's ... there are only 2 styles ... One should be SLVR/BLK/RED One should be BLK/RED/SLVR Can't help you one that one .... |

That looks really good. I didn't notice the '09's don't come with the pod stickers. Also didn't notice the '10 comes with a clear tail lamp lens. I think I might have to get a pair too. Adds more attention to those big pods. |
