i tested out my road trip setup today. that green bag will get a bit smaller once i actually use the compression sack for my sleeping bag. its just stuffed in there with my tent and sleeping pad now.
Good luck to all you HH5 riders! I will be heading thru your " riding area"on the way to Pennsylvania tomorrow. Next year I will plan dirtbike trip earlier so I can attend if there is a " HH6". I will honk if I see any of youz as you pass me along the way.
Oh yeah...Tripp wasn't kidding...80+ in the rain last year...some roads it was no problem...but when you got to the roads that looked all shiny when wet...THAT WAS PUCKER TIME!!!
What a great ride that was. This one will be much better as I incorporated some much tighter roads and the wet conditions should add an interesting twist.
I do recall that Jim's experience of getting head from Hammer was two years ago in August...I trailered Jim's bike to Fritz's place - it was the trip when I first met you HVC guys...he blew the plug out of the head trying to pull a wheely on Bear Mt Bridge...and on the next day George crashed on the circle...stuffed the bike under the guard rail...
All spectacularly good stories...even better with some minor embelishments...Badweb has never been know to let the truth stand in the way of a good story...
Yo NEBO guys had a great time yesterday hope everyone is safe and sound at home sorry to hear the blast went down hope you got it squared away and hope Trip made it home on the UBER PLUGGING GLASS EATING DUNFLOP that was his rear sneaker Dave
Hey where are all the pictures, video, big fire, crashes, breakdowns, & stories....
No report from the guy that drove up there bikeless?
I can tell you how happy I was to not go due to my mom needing help moving. I tried to get out of it but it turned into a fiasco to say the least.. the kick in the ass was it took all of 1.5 hours... & I was pissed to say the least, I did not even fill my truck bed up with one load of sh!t.. 2 chairs a table and some boxes..Errrrr!!!
