Doing my breather reroute with an American Sport Bike catch can. Using approx 10" of the front PCV valve line to block the two airbox holes. Al said to push the ends down from the top, so the two open ends point down. A video I saw on youtube did the opposite. Which is the safest (wont get sucked into intake)? Also any other tips would be great! Planning to run the line right to the catch can (obviously) and then run a short line down to the filter in the open hole on the left front side of the cowl (Al's recommendation). Got my RSS, tech spec pads and LSL pegs installed already will be a fun ride after I get this finished! |

Also just to clarify... Basically all there is to it is to make both of the PCV valves go to the T, and then from there to the catch can... correct? I have the front one connected to the T... Almost there . Just need the clarification on the orientation to install the line to close the two holes, let my air filter sun dry (felt like cleaning it while I am in there) and then TEST RIDE! |

I ran the single piece up from the bottom through the two holes so that it would look like it was still stock from the filter side. |

Thanks! Didnt see anything in the thread about blocking the holes... I am thinking if I put it so the two pieces stick out the top, and on the bottom it loops around, then there is less chance of it getting sucked through or out of the holes, although I doubt it matters. Got everything done besides putting the airbox back together. I routed the K&N down into the cowl but I like the idea of it going straight back from the billet catch can and zip tied onto the frame. Might do that in the future. Should only be 20-30min from a test ride . |
