Alright take it easy mechanic studs, basic questions here for you guys, I know... but help me out if you can Going through the manual step by step, not sure what step 4 means "4. Remove spring and lockplate. Turn adjusting screw counterclockwise until it lightly bottoms." What does lightly bottom mean? Until the adjusting screw stops moving or when the hook lightly touches the bottom of the rim? Not sure here Everything thing else in the steps seem pretty straight forward. Thanks for your help! |

It is pretty simple task but if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself have the dealer do it for you. My dealer charged me $35 and did it while I had a cup of coffee. |

Lightly bottoms means when the stud stops turning and you feel resistance. |
