I picked up an 1125cr yesterday, and ive been going through the bike looking at everything. I took the passenger seat and cover off and now i cannot get it to go back on properly. I put it on and it just over around. Whats the trick? |

Slide the pointy end into the cover, under the 2 tabs, one on each side. Then pull the front part's tab over the edge and call it good. Go slow the first time or two so you don't tear the vinyl. Z |

that's not what i mean the seat is in the cover. When i reattach the cover to the bike, it moves all around its latched down but the whole thing moves. its like it dosnt seat to the tail properly its the same if i just attach the seat, it moves. not sure wtf is wrong |

Zac4mac +1 and when installing on bike don't slide it straight on, point the tail of seat at left rear of bike and slide it in at an angle then straighten it out. Helps to miss the battery terminal and makes it easier to engage the tabs. |

Dear Peewee. Nothing wrong. They are all loose like that. I have been wondering how to make mine less loose. Will work on improving it. Buell did not spend a lot of time on the rear seat design. A small grab rail for the pillion would have been great too. |

Shortly after I got Loretta, I pulled all the tail plastic to do wiring measurements for Robert Hall at XBLights. Point was, the rear section was loose, so I wedged part of a reflector from the fork-leg under the plastic by the seat latch. Now to latch the seat, I have to punch it. Mine doesn't rattle or shift around. Zack |

If it bothers you that much get some self adhesive velcro - put it on the frame and under the seat to help hold it securely. Never tried it myself, just an idea - we use velcro to stop laptops moving around when we fit them into travel cases for some of our field staff. |

You need to put an aftermarket tool kit to fill up the empty space in there. Mine barely fits in the space and makes the seat a tight fit into the lock. |
