So i'm preparing my bike for some winter mods and i'm thinking of putting on front exit exhaust from free spirit and TFI (http://www.freespirits.it/prodotti.php?lang=2&cat_id=13), cutting the cheese grater, changing my fairing with the cr and paint it in red. So what do you think (it's photoshop obviously) And what do you think about exhaust anyway... I think it's a good choice (it was made for racing right???) I think it will do just fine with my 19raw oil cooler an hypercharger   p.s.: I just realize that i took 2007 model... well my is 2008. My mistake... | ||

You asked... Too much red. "Racing" exhaust...why would you care ? Is this a street bike or a race bike ? Do you know what that particular exhaust does or doesn't do to your torque curve ? Both fenders black, shorten the front fender by about 2". Foot guards black. I do like the CR head light. Mike | ||

Overall I like it, I agree with 1_Mike, shorten the front fender, and add some black some where. I like the look of the CR front end on the XB. (Odd since I don't like the cr front end on the cr very much.) | ||

Thanks for ideas, so i make it a little more black and also change the fairing with the alien one from showyomoto.com And yes this exhaust should give me a little more mid range power and maybe some low range power. Well it's not racing bike but i like to be different (Which front end exit is). And my foot will be free of blowing from the exhaust, and i also ride quite hard. Getting there, for me. Black out the lower side plastic and use red pinstripe, Awe,Really,Just flat black all the red and shiny metal, then use a very little red pinstripe. Do a military stealth aircraft type paint theme. Figure out a way to put small electrically actuated aircraft style air brakes on it. (all show of course) | ||

I'd personally lose the red side scoops. I like the CR headlight though, and in fact, I've been thinking of doing the same thing this winter. Looks like it will take some effort fitting the old cluster to the new dash, but it could be fun. Keep us posted. |
