How do you lift the bike to take the swingarm off with an after market exhaust and belly pan?

It seems like you'd either have to remove the belly pan and exhaust so you could put a suitable support below the engine, or somehow support the subframe either from below or by suspending it from overhead.

It would probably be more secure to do the belly pan and exhaust, especially with your Frankenbike.

Very simple. I placed automobile jack stands under the passenger footpegs. I padded the foot with rags so as not to scratch the paint.

On past bikes I have flipped the rider pegs upside down so they don't fold up and placed jackstands under.

Secure front end by any means.

Two sawhorses, one on each side of the bike and a long 1" square bar via the naked subframe resting atop with the rear end a few inches off the ground.

Works well and is safe.

Have fun!
