I rode the XB12SS to and from work this morn and it is kinda coldish (40 or so) as well as raining. I noticed there is condensation in the air box. How bad is this if at all? Did I just void my warrenty at 167 miles? |

Any motorcycle company that would void the warranty from riding in the rain should be run out of business and then strung up from the nearest tree! I would say you are still fine, mop up the water if you are really concerned but I would just ride it when it is warmer to dry it out. |

the warranty thing was tongue in cheek. I'm just wondering if this could encourage mold later, or freeze up in the cold and cause a problem. I would guess that Buell looked into all this, but it is my first new vehicle and I am all a flustered |

It becomes a problem once the rubbers get old and cracked and moisture gets into electricals. You're years away from that happening. Look for the rain thread. |

Seriously, come ride with me. If the hail and hurricane downpours and dumping the bike in a river crossing didn't void my warranty, I don't think anything would.

...Froggy couldn't run NORAD and SAC from his handlebars if moisture was an issue. Look again. |
