So, I'm doing some maintenance, and now I'm having to buy a new clutch cable, yadda yadda. Can I leave the primary case open and exposed (and obviously devoid of transmission fluid), or will exposure to the air in my garage cause something to rust while I wait on parts? ~SM |

If the bike is in a dry ventilated garage It should be fine if you put something over it like a clean towel to keep stuff out. Or you can put the cover on loosely with out the gasket. That way you won't lose your screws. |

Got it. Garage is nice and dry, so shouldn't be a problem. Thanks! ~SM |

you can leave it open. throw some coins in there and ride around the neighborhood then tell everyone not to worry, its just a dry clutch. |

I'd cover it with plastic. and seal it off with painters tape. Want to keep the dust out of it. |
